Strategic Pillars

Empowering the community with breast-health literacy.

Our work centers on three key pillars: raising public awareness to normalize breast-health conversations, providing training to healthcare providers for clinical examinations, and advocating early action to improve survival rates in India.

01
Public Advocacy

Overcoming the stigma and shyness associated with breast disease through open, honest discussions.

02
Clinical Training

Partnering with doctors, healthcare professionals, and workers to conduct effective screening campaigns.

03
Survivor Networks

Bridging the gap between active medical treatment and long-term psychological reassurance and recovery.

Community Campaigns

Painting the city pink to spread breast-health awareness.

Every October, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, UBF initiates unique public campaigns to capture community attention and start meaningful conversations.

This includes organizing South Asia's first Pink Ribbon Walks, illuminating historic landmarks like Charminar, the Buddha Statue, and hospital structures in pink, and distributing multilingual educational leaflets directly to families.
